January 2025
Baby Bottle Project
Sanctity of Life Sunday is January 19, 2025. The sanctity and value of every human life is one of the most important truths we can teach the next generation. At Lima Baptist Temple, we value life from womb to the tomb. Over the remaining Sundays in January grab a baby bottle from the Welcome Center (or several) and fill it with loose change and bills. At the end of January these filled baby bottles will be donated to Heartbeat of Lima and Putnam County to go towards helping parents and children, from womb to 3 years old.

Men's Bible Study
Join us for an exciting 11-week Men's Bible Study, The Ten Commandments! The commands are intended to help us live the life that God intended for us to life, free from the consequences of sin while in a deep, personal relationship with God and others. The Ten Commandments are designed to help us live according to God's plan for us. His idea of the commands was not to give us strict rules and take the fun out of life. They are guidelines to help keep us living in a right relationship with God and with other people.

Ladies Bible Study
Join us for a 6-session study Seeing God Through O.T. Women led by Rosanne Bowman. This study delves into the lives of familiar (and a few not-so-familiar) Old Testament women. Through their stories we will see God’s heart towards those He calls His own and learn more about His character that never changes. Join me in studying the stories of Eve, Sarah, Hagar, Israel’s mid-wives Puah and Shiphrah, Jocabed, and Michael (David’s first wife).

Love Out Loud
Love out Loud is our annual February focus to amplify our mission: Go. Serve. Love. Our goal is to unleash the love of Jesus to those in our community through acts of kindness and serving with some of our partner organizations and nonprofits. Aaron & Kassidee Blevins
Over the last several years, we have been searching for the next full time youth pastor to lead our student ministry (6th grade – 12th grade). After much prayer, consideration, and the interview process, Pastor Ben and our deacons believe we have found the couple God is calling to our church for this pastoral position. Aaron and Kassidee Blevins are no strangers to our church family. Aaron grew up here and was ordained by Lima Baptist Temple in 2021. On February 2, we will affirm the call of Aaron Blevins for youth pastor during a special business meeting following the 11 AM service. Prayer Gathering
If we could see what actually happens when we pray, we would never stop praying. The first Monday of every month is a time for our church to come together and unite in prayer. We worship in song and powerfully seek God's will through prayer. We pray for each other, our church, community, country, and more. It's our prayer to desire God above all else and seek His wisdom.
